I am Guy Liebenberg, the owner of Berg Heating & Air. We are licensed & insured and have over 10 years of experience in residential, commercial & multifamily installations and service. I deal directly with my clients and execute all work, sometimes with an assistant.

Services

Inspections

Regular HVAC inspections are essential to keeping your system running safely and efficiently. We offer comprehensive inspections that catch small issues before they become costly problems. We do seasonal preventive maintenance, as well as real estate inspections, ensuring that your heating and cooling systems are code compliant and performing optimally. These inspections typically cost about $100 per unit for a 10 mile drive and $150 for up to 15 miles (see map).

Service & Repairs

Our experienced technicians provide prompt and reliable service and have been trained to diagnose and repair all the major brands and models. Our trip charge is $80 for a 10 mile drive and $100 for up to 15 miles (see map) and will cover the first 30 minutes of work / diagnostic After 30 minutes, we will present a fixed quote for any remaining work. We prefer a direct approach and will often present 3 options: good / better / best, each with corresponding prices, pros and cons. Prices are market related and not negotiable. We bring value with technical insight, integrity and work ethic, as well as in spending the time to give you a reasonable understanding of the problem and solutions.

Installations

We design and install brand new or replacement systems that are both energy-efficient and accommodating your budget. Our technicians are experienced in all the major brands, but are very proficient in high end Carrier systems as well as Lennox, Bryant and Goodman. For a basement or small room or enclosed porch addition, you can often save with an inverter driven mini-split system.

On a Personal Note

I arrived in Atlanta as a 4-year-old when my parents immigrated from South Africa in 2000. I still live in Berkeley Lake, where I grew up and attended Berkeley Lake Elementary, Duluth Middle and Norcross High. In my free time, I enjoy line dancing, pickleball, jet skiing, kayaking, camping and various church activities.
